A maximum of 128 anglers can qualify for the grand final at Mallory Park Fisheries on Saturday 15 September 2007.
Celtic Lakes Resort is proud to be holding one of the qualifying legs for the competition on 4th August 2007.
What makes this event special is that local rules will apply on all qualifiers, which means that even a novice angler can have a great chance of going through to the final.
Many of the qualifying rounds will be incorporated into existing events at fisheries, with the entry fee of £9, which goes into the final pot, being added to the entry fee for that day’s event, if applicable.
Each Premier fishery can forward 8 qualifiers to the final. Some events may be 80 plus peggers with 8 qualifying; others may be two forty plus events with four qualifiers from each event. You may find some special evening events at your local Premier Fishery.
This makes it very easy to fish a qualifier, you can enter has many times as you wish.
Every qualifier will win one of the new Pure Fishing Abu Garcia feeder rods valued at £100. Everyone will be a winner, because Pure Fishing will give every angler who takes part a 300mt spool of their most popular Sensation match line.
In the final, and subject to a sell out, the winner will receive £5000 cash plus up to £600 section prize plus tackle and the prestigious trophy.
The other 11 section winners will collect at least £600 for their section win, if sold out.
With the average section likely to hold no more than 12 anglers,
this is going to be a sensational event.
